The Intensive English Program (IEP) is our most popular course.
It allows you to specialize in areas of the language that interest
you most.
The 30 lessons each week are divided as follows:
- Twenty-four lessons per week at the appropriate level in Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking
- Six lessons per week, chosen from the following electives.
(The suitability of each elective depends on your level of English
and will be determined in consultation with the Academic Director):
- TOEFL preparation: Listening/Structure/Reading
- English for Business and the Professions
- American Culture and Language
- English through Drama
- Pronunciation Development
- Academic Study Skills
- American Literature and History
Self-study and homework assignments are part of your course. You will be expected to complete your self-study assignments and may use our multi-media centers and specialized software.
Class Schedule
Levels 1-5: Beginner, Elementary, Low Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advanced
Core classes are held in the morning for one hour each, and electives are held in the afternoon for one and a half hours each.
