Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Student-Athlete Support Services
A former Division I student-athlete, dean's list student and a doctoral candidate, Ronell Blizzard brings an abundance of academic support experience and insight to Pine Manor.
While his services are open to all student-athletes, Blizzard works primarily with first-year, transfer and at at-risk student-athletes, preparing them for success in the classroom and in areas away from their field of play. He also advises the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and serves on a number of academic committees throughout campus.
Blizzard served as an academic advisor for the University of Cincinnati‘s Big East Conference football team from 2006 to 2009. At Cincinnati, he oversaw the academic progress, eligibility and success of the Bearcats football student-athletes, assisting in class scheduling and collaborating with various departments throughout campus.
From 2003 to 2006, he served as assistant athletic director for compliance and director of student-athlete development at Eastern Connecticut State. He played from 1999 to 2002 on the University of Massachusetts men‘s basketball team. A true student-athlete, he was a dean‘s list student and was given the Student-Athlete Honor Roll Award.
