Liberal Studies

The B.A. degree in Liberal Studies is appropriate for students who seek a broad interdisciplinary background in the traditional liberal arts. This major encourages students to make connections between the study of a liberal arts education and the College’s mission of inclusive leadership and social responsibility.

This major has four areas of concentration:

Global Studies
Elementary Education
Early Childhood Education
The School-Age Child

Each area of concentration provides a diverse academic background that promotes critical thinking relative to the common good, while at the same time preparing individuals to meet challenges associated with their individual areas of concentration.
