Students who have been accepted for admission to Pine Manor College
are welcomed to participate in the Colleges articulated Nursing
program with Boston College School of Nursing as long as the following
requirements are met:
Requirements to start Program at Pine Manor College
- Candidates must have completed a minimum of
two years of science in high school including Biology and Chemistry,
and a minimum of three years of math in high school including
Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II.
Requirements to continue Program at Pine Manor
College
- Candidates must carry a 3.2 cumulative grade
point average through each semester at Pine Manor to continue
in the program.
- Candidates must follow the prescribed Program
of Study to continue in the program.
- Candidates must complete three prescribed courses
at Boston College during the first two years of the program; one
during the spring semester of their first year and two during
the spring semester of their second year. These courses are part
of Pine Manors cross-registration program with Boston College.
Candidates must receive at least a C+ in these three courses to
continue in the program.
Requirements to continue Program at Boston College
- Candidates must submit the following official
documents to Boston Colleges Office of Transfer Admission:
- Transcript from Pine Manor College reflecting
at least a 3.2 average
- High school transcript
- Students whose native language is not English
must submit a TOEFL score report with a minimum score of 600
or computer score of at least 250.
- Candidates must be in good social standing at Pine
Manor College documented on an evaluation form submitted by the
Dean.
- Candidates must be selected for program continuation
by the Pine Manor College Nursing Committee in the event that
the transfer enrollment limit of five students per year is exceeded.
