Design is a broad emphasis within the Visual Arts major that offers students a chance to explore a multitude of directions leading to a career in a visual design occupation. Using the resources of the entire Visual Arts course catalog the Design student is able to build a varied background leading to careers in: web design, multimedia, photographic styling, visual merchandising, exhibit design, and textile / fabric design, among others.
