The Access/Success Institute is a program of Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. It is supported by a grant from the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and by in-kind assistance from Pine Manor College. It also derives support from fees from participating colleges.
The Institute, through its various events and programs, works to bring not-for-profit college access organizations based in Massachusetts high schools together with the small, independent Massachusetts colleges that serve significant populations of low income and first-generation-to-college students. Because both of these types of organizations are working for the same goals of college access and success for underserved students, the Institute is finding ways for them to convene, discuss relevant issues, and get to know and enhance each others’ efforts.
