Transfer Student Admissions

Applying to Pine Manor College

Candidates for admission who have attempted at least 13 credits of college coursework at another institution of higher education are considered transfer applicants and are asked to submit the following credentials:

  1. A completed application for admission accompanied by a $25.00 non-refundable application fee (waived if applying online).
  2. A personal essay (see application for more information).
  3. An official transcript of academic work at previous college(s) received in an envelope sealed by the sending institution and a copy of college catalog(s) with course descriptions for transfer credit evaluation.
  4. An official secondary school transcript or G.E.D. diploma if less than 24 credits have been earned at previous college(s).
  5. One recommendation letter from a college faculty member.

The number of credits granted for prior college-level work is determined by the Registrar. Only grades of “C-” or higher are acceptable for credit. Non-credit or remedial courses are not accepted for transfer.
