Dear Alumnae:
As you know, the Pine Manor Alumnae Association exists
to help Pine Manor alumnae connect to each other, to the Pine Manor
of today, and to help advance the mission of the College.
The Alumnae Association is developing a Mentoring Program,
which we hope will help to connect current students with alumnae
"mentors" who can answer questions about career choices
and specific fields, assist the students with net-working, and be
a support to a young woman while she is thinking about her future,
and later, when she is ready to enter the professional world.
As we launch this initiative we are contacting all alumnaeeventually
we hope to have more than 1,000 alumnae, spanning different geographic
locations, class years, and career paths, participating in the project.
We would like you to be part of this program and ask
that you complete the
form and return it to the Alumnae Relations Office as soon
as possible. Forms will be categorized and made available to all
Pine Manor students in the Office of Experiential Learning. In most
cases, the students will contact you in writing, by e-mail, or by
phone. Your responsiveness and willingness to share your experiences,
stories, contacts, and time with the students is an incredible way
to support young women and Pine Manor. It is an act that will be
greatly appreciated and valued.
We hope that you will join us in launching this important
and meaningful project. Please feel free to contact us if we can
answer any questions, provide additional information, or if you
have suggestions about the program or know other alumnae who may
be interested in participating in our Mentoring Program.Thank you
in advance for your time and dedication to our College!
Sincerely,
Annie Rothenberg McGuire
