9:30-11:30AM: The di Rosa Preserve: Art and Nature
$15 per person

Enjoy a 2-hour docent-led tour of the extensive collection of San Francisco Bay area contemporary artists owned by Rene di Rosa, art aficionado, wine enthusiast and visionary.  The collection is presented in buildings and fields of an 1886 winery and vineyard on 465 acres of open space. www.dirosapreserve.org

The American Center for Food, Wine and the Arts (COPIA) offers art exhibits, food demonstrations, wine lectures and tours of their extraordinary gardens, all with a focus on tantalizing the senses.  Enjoy the morning exploring or taking tours or classes.  Garden tour PM only, Wine lecture AM only.    www.copia.org

 

10:00-11:00AM: Pine Ridge Winery Tour & Tasting
$25 per person

This extensive tour begins in the vineyard, continues into the wine production area and ultimately explores the caves where barrel samples are tasted and discussed.  You will also enjoy a seated tasting of the current releases of Pine Ridge Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. www.pineridgewinery.com

$12.50 per person

The CIA is located in the historic Christian Brothers Winery, Greystone, just north of St. Helena. Opens at 10:00AM for self-guided tours of the museum and kitchen gardens or a nibble in the Café.  Shop at Spice Island Marketplace showcasing cookware and culinary tools. Enjoy a one-hour live cooking demo in the teaching kitchen with tastes and recipes for everyone.  www.ciachef.edu

 

10:30-11:30AM: Rutherford Hill Wine Tour & Tasting
$15 per person

"One of the Greatest U.S. Merlot Producers" - Wine Enthusiast.  Enjoy an informative guided tour of the winery property, which includes a walk through the spectacular wine-aging caves and a special tasting in the cellar. www.rutherfordhill.com

 

12:00-1:00PM: Box Lunch at the Wineries or On Your Own
$15 per person

You may wish to pre-order a box lunch or make reservations at one of the many fine restaurants within the valley on your own.  The box lunch will contain a choice of sandwiches, accompanied by a small pasta or Yukon Gold potato salad, seasonal fresh fruit, and a freshly baked desert.
