a fabulous weekend for up to six people at the Napa Valley estate of
Betsy Van Orsdel Moulds ’64 and her husband, Steve. The Moulds
family raises some of Napa’s finest cabernet grapes. Their
57-acre estate boasts a Jacuzzi spa, an outdoor fireplace, a golfer’s
dream tee box, and a striking pool accentuated by incredible views of
the vineyards of Napa Valley. This prize offers the utmost in flexibility.
It will be tailored according to the desires of the winner with weekend
dates to be mutually agreed upon by the winner and hosts.
 Your
Weekend
Your two-night stay at Betsy and Steve’s phenomenal wine country
home will begin with a Friday evening reception and dinner. Betsy
and Steve will pair each course with wines selected from their personal
collection. Saturday activities will focus on food, wine and the arts—visiting
art collections, attending a cooking class, or touring an elite private
winery and exploring the barrel development of an unreleased wine. Saturday
night rub elbows with the locals during dinner at a popular bistro. Sunday
activities could include a hot air balloon ride and brunch or perhaps
golf or spa treatment at the nearby Silverado Country Club. Or
if it is your wish to lie by the pool, so be it! This is a chance to
experience the wine country from a vineyard owner’s perspective.
The Details
 The estimated value of this weekend for six is $8000. It does
not include airfare or ground transportation. Each ticket is offered
at $100.
If you buy a block of ten or more tickets, you will be entered
into the drawing for a spa treatment at Elizabeth Arden’s Red
Door (or nearest spa of your choosing) valued minimally at $200.
We
will sell only 500 tickets, so order your tickets soon! The odds
are 1 in 500 of winning. Your gift will be gratefully acknowledged
and a gift card sent. The winner will be chosen during the Weekend
in Napa Valley, April 2005. You do not need to be present to
win. The
trip must be taken no later than October 2006.
