Arts Fest 2017

Pine Manor College 2017 ArtsFest took place in early November. The brain-child of the performing arts program coordinator, Deborah Cronenberg, and her enthusiastic collaborators Michelle deSousa Moore, and Latoya Johnson, the event offered a borderless approach to building community and creating learning opportunities through art. This show included dance, theatre, spoken word, rap and music, and was enhanced by visual arts presentation by Pine Manor College’s young artists at Ellsworth. “It is a symbolic display of the diversity that lives within our community”, the event’s program explained, “ As the actor, artist, and civil rights activist Ossie Davis said, “Any form of art is a form of power; it has impact, it can affect change - it can not only move us, it makes us move.”
