Tarah Ellington, LAT, ATC, CSCS, enters her second year as the graduate assistant athletic trainer at Pine Manor.
She received her athletic training certification in August 2008 and received her strength and conditioning certification in November of 2008. Tarah is also earning her Master of Education in Sport Psychology at Boston University.
Prior to Pine Manor, Tarah graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training and Psychology from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. While at Carthage, she attained experience working with a wide variety of NCAA Division III athletic teams, including football, volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, track and field and baseball. Tarah also played for the Carthage softball team for four years, earning four varsity letters and being named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll three times.
Tarah is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is a licensed athletic trainer by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health.
