After the Gators thrilling victory at St. Joseph on Saturday, forwards Paulette Wright and Tia Nelson have been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

Paulette Wright's putback as time expired secured Pine Manor's first road win in breathtaking fashion, 75-73, at St. Joseph (CT). Tia Nelson nailed seven three-pointers, pouring in a game-high 28 points for the Gators.

Sophomore Paulette Wright posted her second straight double-double with 16 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks, and freshman Aponi Washington grabbed a career-high 11 boards as Pine Manor fell to Lasell, 82-51.

Paulette Wright posted her fourth double-double in GNAC play, scoring 12 points and pulling down 19 rebounds, and Enjolee Phillips led all scorers with a season-high 18 points, but four runs of eight or more straight points distanced Emmanuel in its 90-63 win.

As a part of the team's committment to community service, Yiafia Dowridge, coach Alex Gould and the Gators are set to visit Massachusetts Hospital School on Wednesday at 6 p.m. to play the MHS wheelchair basketball team. 

St. Joseph's (ME) outrebounded Pine Manor 56-35 on its way to a 74-41 victory Wednesday night. Enjolee Phillips led the Gators with 14 points on 6-13 shooting.

The Cadets came out firing Saturday afternoon, connecting on 53 percent of shots from the floor - 64 percent in the second half - in an 85-33 victory over the Gators. Paulette Wright and Enjolee Phillips led Pine Manor with 10 points each.
