Sallyann Kakas

Director of Career Development

Sallyann is delighted to be working with the students and alumnae of Pine Manor College, providing them options and guidance for a successful career path. She is known for her networking ability and enthusiasm, connecting students and employers in mutually beneficial working relationships. Sallyann’s background includes experience as a Career Counselor and Coordinator of Employer Relations at Lasell College and work as a Career Consultant to students at Hult International Business School. Her many years as a Career Management Consultant with Keystone Associates provided her the opportunity to interact with Human Resources staff in industries including healthcare, biotech, education, advertising, publishing and the arts.

Sallyann utilizes her earlier career experience as an Employment Manager and Recruiter within the energy, government and high technology sectors to provide students and alumnae with a “real world” approach to Career Development. She strives to empower each individual to be prepared with the tools essential for career success in today’s competitive world.

Sallyann has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Northeastern University. She is a Certified Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). You can find her in the Athletic Center gym before her workday begins, or when she is not on campus, she can be found windsurfing, swimming, sailing or power walking.
