Steps to Composing a Cover Letter
A cover letter can make the difference as to whether or not an applicant gets an interview. In a cover letter, you introduce yourself and provide examples of your qualifications for a specific position, and what you bring to that organization; it is an opportunity to elaborate upon the information on your resume.
Use a 1" margin on all sides of the page, but the side margins can be reduced to .8" if space is needed. Use a simple, easily read font such as, Times New Roman or Calibri; the type size should be between 10-12 point depending on the font size.

BA in Communications Field, organized individual with the ability to multi-task, experience with editing, pre- and post production and marketing a must. Should be familiar with digitizing, and must be a good writer.
Could translate into the following in a cover letter:
I am an extremely organized person who creates task sheets to keep track of my daily goals. The editing experience that I gained from (title of position) allowed me to learn (name of specific skills). Give an example to clarify. I have created and promoted marketing materials, for (give name of organization or company).
