Senior Internship 495 Process
- Look at Internship Site Opportunities or Search Internship Web Sites and pick at least 10 internships
- Meet with your Faculty Sponsor

- Prepare résumé. Start by reviewing résumé guide.
- Prepare cover letter by following the cover letter guide.
- Make an appointment with or at least email Julie Ginn-Komack
at
ginn-koj@pmc.edu to review résumés and cover letters before submitting them to possible internship sites. - Follow up after a week if you haven’t heard back from anyone. Use job record sheet to keep track of correspondence.
- Go to interviews, be prompt and dress professionally
- Contact all other sites with whom you have interviewed and thank them for their time, but advise them of your final decision.
- Turn in your signed contract to the Career Services Office. Contract templates with deadlines for all appropriate documentation can be found on the Senior Internships Portfolio page.
- Be sure that you have your part of the contract and your Site Supervisor's before getting your Faculty Sponsor to sign off on it. Director of Career Services is the last to sign.
