Shaké Sulikyan, Director of Annual Giving & Alumnae Relation, was selected as a fellow of the Emerging Leaders Program, a year-long leadership program through University of Massachusetts Boston.

Amy Deveau joins Pine Manor College as the new Associate Director of Special Events.

Bob Owczarek will serve as one of three judges of the finals of the 2008 Massachusetts High School Drama Festival. The festival finals will be held at the John Hancock building on March 27, 28, and 29, 2008.

Liz Doran, Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, journeyed to the Yucatan in January. She has also been active in several performances at the Footlight Club including Singin' in the Rain, The Long Christmas Dinner, Hair, and The Wind in the Willows. Also, Liz has recently been certified to teach dance.

Transitions at PMC
January 2008
Carole Worsh, Director of the Wellness Center, has retired from her position. Carole has been part of the PMC community for over 15 years. Filling the role will be Veronica (Ronnie) White who has been a Nurse Practitioner at the college since 1998. Melissa Yoffe will move into the newly created position, Director of Outreach and Student Support. This unique role was created in an effort to provide our students with more intensive and holistic support.

"Investigations," a collection of poems about Nancy Drew by Professor of English, Kathleen Aguero, has been accepted for publication by CervenaBarva press. The book should reach shelves later this year.
