Intensity: 30 lessons per week

Duration: From 4 to 50 weeks
Start Dates: Weekly, year-round
Timetable: 9:00 - 3:00, Monday to Thursday
9:00 - 12:30, Friday

The Intensive English Program (IEP) is our most popular course. It allows you to specialize in areas of the language that interest you most.

The 30 lessons each week are divided as follow:

  • Twenty-four lessons per week at the appropriate level in Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking
  • Six lessons per week, chosen from the following electives. (The suitability of each elective depends on your level of English and will be determined in consultation with the Academic Director):
    • TOEFL preparation: Listening/Structure/Reading
    • English for Business and the Professions
    • American Culture and Language
    • Pronunciation Development
    • Academic Study Skills
    • American Literature and History
    • Idiomatic Expressions

Self-study and homework assignments are part of your course. You will be expected to complete your self-study assignments and may use our multi-media centers and specialized software.
