What is the May Challenge?

Leadership donors, including the alumna who sponsored last year's challenge, were so pleased with last year's results, they have decided to sponsor it again in 2011. They have offered to give $30,000 to the College if 275 alumnae, parents, faculty, staff, and friends make a gift to the Pine Manor College Annual Fund by May 31, 2011.

Who is eligible?

You are eligible if you are an alumna, parent, faculty member, staff member or a friend of Pine Manor College and make a gift using a credit card or a check between May 1 and May 31, 2011.

How do I support the Challenge?

Make a gift to Pine Manor College’s Annual Fund between May 1 and May 31, 2011 and you will automatically count as part of the May Challenge. You may make a credit card gift online or by phone at 617-731-7132, or you may mail your gift to the Office of Annual Giving, Pine Manor College, 400 Heath Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.

I made a gift before May 1; will I be counted toward the May Challenge?

The timing of this efforts precludes us from counting gifts made prior to May 1, 2011. However, Pine Manor appreciates every gift it receives. We sincerely thank you for your support. Some people may choose to make a second or a third gift in the month of May in order to help us meet the Challenge, we truly appreciate your additional support.

I made a pledge through the Phonathon earlier this year; will my pledge payment count toward the May Challenge?

Absolutely! All gifts made to the Pine Manor College Annual Fund using a credit card or a check will be counted toward the May Challenge. Each gift will get us one person closer to our goal of bringing in 275 donors in May.
