CQ Researcher
CQ Researcher provides in-depth reports on current, hot, and controversial topics such as "Embryo Research," "Rethinking Ritalin," "Drinking on Campus," and "Subsidized Access to the Internet for the Poor." CQ offers balanced introductions to these issues and includes a generous selection of cross-references to past reports, as well as excellent tables and graphs.

combines Gale biographies with related full-text articles from magazines and newspapers, thousands of images, and links to vetted websites. Search for current or historic figures based on name, occupation, nationality, ethnicity, birth/death dates and places, or gender, as well as keyword and full text. Fully integrated, the Marquis Who's Who® module provides quick reference information on over 1 million additional people whose entries have appeared in more than 22 Marquis sources published from 1985 to the present.

provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,650 journals, including full text for more than 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. AccessScience

Directory of Open Access Journals
A searchable directory providing access to scientific and medical journals published online. Search the full-text collection of over 63,000 articles.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic
Provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Coverage of nursing and allied health is particularly strong. In addition, this database includes the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

Health Reference Center Academic:
This database provides access to the full text of nursing and allied health journals, plus a wide variety of personal health information. Health Reference Center Academic is also available off campus.

PubMed
PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 18 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources.

PubMed Central
The U.S. National Institutes of Health's free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature.

GreenFILE
offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.
