Fourth Annual Student Colloquium; A Great Success

PMC Students Presenting Work at Student Colloquium

Every year, Pine Manor College holds a major event for first year students to showcase their achievement in College Composition. The professors, advisors, students, and supporters gather together to marvel at the excellent work of the students. The young scholars from each CC110 course give presentations, and they also provide tables with information, essays, brochures and multimedia presentations.  This year, the focus of the colloquium is on the book Persepolis, examining it through the lens of each composition class theme.

All of the students at PMC gain confidence in their writing and all other areas of study, including their lives outside of college. By the end of these college composition courses, the students learn how to think critically, gain inclusive leadership skills, and learn how to solve problems.
