CHESTNUT HILL, MA – Four different Pine Manor players scored in double-figures, led by 18 points from senior Jessica Gilmore (Dorchester, MA), as the Gators defeated visiting Fisher College, 82-60, on Monday evening at Brunelli Court at Pine Manor Gymnasium.
Pine Manor raced out to a 28-10 advantage, following a lay-up by senior Paulette Wright (Baltimore, MD) that capped off an 8-0 run with 10:18 remaining in the opening half. Wright finished the game with 13 points, as she was also joined by sophomore Ashley Carusone (Nashua, NH), 11 points, and junior Ashley Reeves (Roxbury, MA), 10 points, in double figures. With the Gators leading by 18, Fisher went on a run to cut the deficit to 8 with 6:19 remaining in the first half, following a lay-up by senior Talia Hyatt (Dorchester, MA).
