Soccer Ends Season in Tie

Nashua, NH – A battle between Daniel Webster College and Pine Manor College ended in a scoreless tie Wednesday after going into double overtime at Eagle Field.

Daniel Webster is now 5-7-3 overall with one game left in regular season play, while Pine Manor finished their season with a record of 1-15-2 overall.

The Eagles finished the game with the advantage in overall shots (24-9) and shots on goal (13-7), but could not find a way to get the ball into the net.

Nikki Gassert (Woodbridge, N.J.) had a chance to win the game for the Eagles in the second overtime period, but her shot just missed the goal.

Natasha Kopystynsky (Johnstown, Ill.) recorded twelve saves for the Gators, while Amy Waller (Berlin, Mass.) had seven saves for the Eagles.
