Fall semester of Senior year:
- Finalize your list of schools.
- Study for admissions exams: GRE, GMAT, MCAT, etc.
- Take the exam (usually in October)
- Near the end of the semester, ask professors and/or employers to write letters of recommendation. Give the professor a resume, transcripts, and an essay for them to review before writing your recommendation. Allow 4-6 weeks for your professor to complete the recommendation.
- Before submitting applications, have someone proofread them.
