What kind of support will I get as a PMC student?
Our international students receive support in many ways. PMC's international
admissions counselor helps students through the admissions process
answering questions about admissions requirements, academics, student
life, scholarships and more. PMC's international
student advisor assists international students with immigration,
personal, and academic issues. The International
Student Club (ISC) is instrumental in helping students feel connected
and share their cultures within the PMC community. The Learning
Resource Center (LRC) provides professional tutoring at no extra
cost to assist students with writing, study skills, and subject matter.
Through PMC's Portfolio
Learning Seminar Program, students learn to be reflective, self-directed
learners. In this unique learning opportunity, students connect with
their group led by a faculty advisor, Student Life staff member and
upper-class peer advisor. Moreover, PMC is dedicated to providing an
approachable learning environment for students through classroom discussions,
campus activities and community involvement.
