Applying to Pine Manor

While Pine Manor College has a rolling admissions policy, which means we do not have an application deadline, we do encourage international students to apply as early as possible. This will allow sufficient time to go through the visa application process, as well as to complete the college application.

International Student Admissions

All international students must have a F-1 Visa to live and study in the U.S. at Pine Manor College.

International Students

International student applicants should submit the following credentials to be considered for admission:

  1. A completed application for admission accompanied by a $25.00 (U.S. currency) non-refundable application fee (waived if applying online).
  2. A personal essay (see application for more information).
  3. An original or certified copy of secondary school records, translated to English.
  4. Two letters of recommendation, one from a school counselor or teacher; and one from a teacher of English.
  5. If English is your native language or language of instruction, please submit your SAT I or ACT score. (See www.collegeboard.com.)
  6. If applying as a transfer student, an official transcript of academic work at previous college(s) received in an envelope sealed by the sending institution and a copy of college catalog(s) with course descriptions for credit evaluation.

In addition, international students must submit the following documents before Pine Manor will consider issuing an I-20 form:

  1. Official financial verification. U.S. Immigration policy requires that international students submit current proof of financial support for at least one year’s expenses.
  2. Pine Manor College Institutional Form for Verification of Financial Support.

More For more details about transferring, refer to our International Student Transfer Information page.

Grants and Scholarships

Please note that international students are not eligible for need-based financial aid, but may qualify for Institutional Grants and Scholarships excluding need-based grants such as the PMC Grant.
