International Student Resources
Pine Manor College offers international students several resources in
both academic and non-academic areas.
Campus Resources
- MISA - International
Affairs
- The International Affairs segment of the MISA (Multicultural, International,
Spiritual Affairs) office focuses on providing guidance and regulatory
advising to International Students in maintaining their F-1 Student
Status as defined by the United States government. This includes working
with various on-campus departments to ensure that students are fully
aware of their responsibilities and options while living and studying
in the United States.
- International
Student Advisory Committee (ISAC)
- The mission of the International Student Advisory Committee is to
provide information, assistance, guidance, and support to all international
students at Pine Manor College. ISAC strives to ensure each student
has the academic, cultural, and social support needed to make their
time in the community a successful and positive one.
- International
Student Club (ISC)
- The ISC at Pine Manor College is a group of international students
including American students. The International Club is a fun place
to be in and all members have had very nice experiences in the past
semester. The International Student Club also serves as a connection
for new students who find themselves lonely upon their arrival in the
United States. It introduces the current students to new students.
It is one of the many places to make friends with people from other
countries or even your own country.
- English Language Institute (ELI)
- ELI attracts a variety of international students who live on campus
for four weeks to one year to learn about American culture and to practice
English language skills. Combined social and educational programs for
PMC and ELI students provide a myriad of opportunities to share culture
and language.
