Internship Program

About Internship Listings

This list provides a number of sites for students to research for internship placements. The organizations are listed by academic major to provide students with a place to start, and each listing is linked to the website of that organization. However, look under majors other than your own, since most organizations will have several functional areas. For example, if you are a Management and Organizational Change major and looking for an internship in human resources, look at the sites under Psychology and SPS; non-profit organizations have human resource offices.

This is not a comprehensive list, nor are you restricted to this list. If there is an organization or business where you would like to do an internship, you should contact them. Go to the organization to see if they have internships listed. If the organization does not ;list internships on their website, this does not mean that they will not work with interns. Try contacting the organization's volunteer office or Human Resources department. Organizations that have sponsored PMC interns are designated by an asterisk; names and contact information are available in the Career Services & Experiential Learning Center.

Before applying, make sure your resume and cover letter have been reviewed by the Career Center staff. If you have not written a resume before, go to the Cover Letter and Resume Link on this website page for templates and instructions. When applying, follow the organization’s instructions; most request that applications be submitted online. If you have not heard back from the organization after a week and a half, 5-7 business days, you may contact them to verify your resume was received. If so, you may ask them when they will be making decisions; if not, see if you can resend it.
