ATLANTA, Ga. - The Great South Athletic Conference (GSAC) announced the winter sports week three Player of the Week on Wednesday morning and women’s basketball player Alexis Lee of Pine Manor College was selected as the winner through exclusive voting by the league sports information directors.
Lee, Pine Manor’s leading scorer at 19.5 PPG, helped the Gators to a 2-1 record last week. She scored 16 points and collected a team-high four assists in a 76-75 OT loss to Bay Path on Wednesday. The next night, she contributed 12 points and a game-high six assists to help the Gators rebound with a 75-57 road win over Lesley. Lee then capped off the week with a game-high 30-point, four assist performance to give PMC its second straight road victory over Newbury, 74-71, on Saturday. For the week, Lee averaged 19.3 points per game.
Lee becomes the first Pine Manor women's basketball basketball player and the second Gator all-time to earn a GSAC Player of the Week Award.

The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
