Lynch Nets Two to Lead Gators Past Fisher

LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Pine Manor College freshman Sybil Lynch (Hoboken, NJ) scored two first half goals to lead the visiting Gators to a 2-1 victory over Fisher College on Saturday evening in Lawrence, MA.

Pine Manor junior goalkeeper Natasha Kopystynsky (Johnsburg, IL) made 20 saves for the Gatros, who were outshot by a 37-12 margin.

Madilyn Pearsall potted a second half goal for the Falcons to cut the deficit in half but the Gators were able to hold on thanks to Kopystynsky and a little help from the goal post in the final seconds of the game-- as Fisher's final attempt went off the post to help preserve the Gator victory late Saturday night.

Pine Manor will return to action when they travel to Paxton, MA on Wednesday afternoon to take on Anna Maria College. Last season, the Gators came away with a 4-1 victory over the AMCATS.
