CHESTNUT HILL, MA-- Pine Manor College freshmen volleyball player Destiny Mann (Orlando, FL) has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the Week of September 26, 2011.
Mann finished the week with a team high .317 hitting percentage helping Pine Manor to a 3-0 record, including a sweep of its first GNAC tri-match of the season. Mann was second on the team with 26 kills, 23 digs, and 8 services aces in three matches last week versus Becker, Saint Joseph (CT) and Mount Ida.
