Pine Manor College Announces
Varsity Golf Program

Chestnut Hill, Mass.-- Pine Manor College announces a varsity
golf team to commence in the spring of 2000. The team's home course
will be the Primrose course at The Country Club, one of the world's
most premiere golf courses and site of the 1999 Ryder Cup.
Pine Manor currently has an active Club Golf program for students,
faculty and staff, which practices at the Putterham Meadows Golf
course in Brookline, Mass.
With the addition of the golf team, Pine Manor will have seven
varsity sports in its roster: Cross-country, soccer, tennis and
volleyballall in the fall; basketball in the winter, and golf
and softball in the spring. These growing programs demonstrate Pine
Manor is preparing for the future and growing competition of GNAC
and other Division III schools.
