October 26 – December 1, 2011
The photographs of adjunct Photography Professor Rachel Loischild and Egyptian photographer Salma Khalil will be on display October 26 – December 1. Much of Loischild’s work centers around the idea of home, concepts of domesticity, and how these concepts are embedded in time and place. Salma Khalil is interested in exploring the facets that comprise our identities. Salma is an immigrant to the United States from Alexandria, Egypt. She has an MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute and a BA in Journalism from The George Washington University. She currently lives and works in New York City.
