Pine Manor College Announces the Appointment of Janine A. Dailey as VP of Advancement and Alumnae/i Relations

CHESTNUT HILL, MA. August 11, 2017 – Pine Manor College has announced the appointment of Janine A. Dailey as Vice President of Advancement and Alumnae/i Relations.

Dailey brings to Pine Manor College over 15 years of development experience, serving in various leadership positions in Higher Education and non-profit originations. Most recently she served as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the Episcopal Divinity School where she was in charge of developing and implementing a strategic fundraising plan. A Boston native, Dailey has held leadership positions in some of Boston’s most renowned organizations including Boston University, Children’s Hospital, Harvard School of Public Health, and METCO.

Introducing Dailey to the campus community, Pine Manor College President Thomas M. O’Reilly said that Dailey “brings expertise and enthusiasm in creating and leading a strategic effort that will advance the College’s relationships with our alumnae, neighbors, and those who are mission-aligned”, President O’Reilly noted that “Janine’s background uniquely positions her to understanding the needs of our student population. We are thrilled that she is bringing her wealth of experience to the college and her track record and commitment to supporting mission-driven institutions such as Pine Manor College.”

Dailey was selected from a strong pool of applicants by a search committee that included faculty, staff, alumnae, and trustees.

“In meeting with members of the search committee, I was struck by the profound spirit of community and dedication to the Pine Manor College mission,” said Dailey, adding that she found the team at Pine Manor College to be “exceptionally focused on empowering students.” Dailey noted that the same sense of spirit was evident as she visited with students, faculty, and staff on campus, “I am truly excited to join Pine Manor College. Advancement is a team effort, and I am looking forward to working closely with faculty, staff, alumnae, trustees, and friends of the College. It is a wonderful opportunity to work on strategic initiatives that will promote a mission that is close to my heart, and support the student experience that Pine Manor College has been providing for generations.”

Dailey earned an M.B.A. from Simmons Graduate School of Management, an M.A. in Psychology from Boston College, and a B.A. in Psychology from UMass Boston. She is currently a Master of Divinity candidate at the Andover Newton Theological School. She lives in Dorchester with her husband of 24 years, and their three children.
