PMC Announces Varsity Golf Program

Pine Manor College announces a varsity golf team to commence in the spring of 2000. The team's home course will be the Primrose course at The Country Club, one of the world's most premiere golf courses and site of the 1999 Ryder Cup.

Pine Manor currently has an active Club Golf program for students, faculty and staff, which practices at the Putterham Meadows Golf course in Brookline, Mass.

With the addition of the golf team, Pine Manor will have seven varsity sports in its roster: Cross-country, soccer, tennis and volleyball—all in the fall; basketball in the winter, and golf and softball in the spring. These growing programs demonstrate Pine Manor is preparing for the future and growing competition of GNAC and other Division III schools.
