Chestnut Hill, MA - Following a week in which she averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds, first-year basketball player Paulette Wright is our PMC Student-Athlete of the Week.
Wright (Baltimore, MD/Seton Keough) posted her second double-double of the season at first-place Emmanuel last Tuesday. The 5-foot-8 forward totaled 10 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and a pair of assists against the Saints.
In the Gators season finale on Saturday against Rivier, Wright poured in a game-high 26 points to go along with four more steals and a pair of blocks. In spite of a knee injury that forced her to miss 11 games, Wright finished as the team's second-leading scorer at 11.8 points per game and second-leading rebounder with seven boards per game.
