Pine Manor College President Thomas M. O'Reilly met today with Mr. Turhan Dorsey, Chief of Education for the City of Boston. The two share a commitment and a passion for education, and both are charged, in their current roles, with the task of helping improve educational outcomes for the benefit of their students. President O'Reilly and Education Chief Dorsey discussed opportunities for collaboration on local educational challenges, most specifically creating access to quality College education and improving graduation rates. Chief Dorsey and President O'Reilly are interested in finding ways to make Pine Manor College's highly individualized education accessible to more Boston High School students who can benefit from the mentoring and experiential learning that Pine Manor offers. More on this as specific initiatives emerge.
