Affordability

Pine Manor College is committed to providing financial value to our students and their families. We know the concerns regarding skyrocketing costs in higher education, and this small institution is doing something about it. Several years ago, Pine Manor College actually reduced tuition by 34%. We now are among the most affordable private four-year colleges in the country. This commitment to value is made possible by the generous contributions of alumnae and friends to the College’s Fund for Affordable Education. This unique partnership helps keep costs at a reasonable level for students and families.

“I think PMC played a major role in my career. I truly believe without my experience and self challenges that I received at Pine Manor, I would not have had the successes I enjoy today."

– Melissa Fish Price, ’94,
Regional Property Manager for units in Massachusetts and New Hampshire

Pine Manor College is dedicated to helping students with financial need. Over 80 percent of our full-time students receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study jobs. After financial aid is calculated, many of our students find that our bottom-line costs are competitive with state-related schools.

Scholarships are available to students for academic achievement in high school or college, and the Margaret Elkins Leadership Scholarship program provides awards to students who have demonstrated leadership ability.

When all is said and done, we are confident that students and families will not find a better value for their educational dollar. Our Financial Aid Office is ready to assist students in applying for aid, and our Student Accounts Office is prepared to advise families about payment options. Students are strongly advised to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) well before May 1st to assure that they will be considered for the maximum amount of financial aid available to them.
