Road Woes Continue to Haunt Gators

MA - After fighting back to take the fourth game, the Gators (6-9, 2-2
GNAC)couldn't get past the Crusaders in the crucial fifth set, falling
10-15 in Game 5 on Thursday night in out-of-conference action in Quincy.
Ally Austin (Hamilton, OH/Badin) offered 24 assists, and
Andrea Lavigne (Haverhill, MA/Whittier
Tech) totaled 20 digs to lead the Gators, who lost for the sixth time in
seven road matches.
GNAC blocks leader
Amanda Dennis (Haverhill, MA/Whittier
Tech) added to her total with seven over the five sets, bringing her up
to 73 (1.30 per set) on the year.
The Gators get two days off
before returning to GNAC play Sunday afternoon for a tri-match at
Albertus Magnus. Lyndsey Stults' team takes on Simmons at 2 and the
Falcons at 4.
