Pine Manor College (PMC) is dedicated to helping students receive a strong, private liberal arts education. Nearly 98 percent of our full-time students receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study jobs. You may be awarded a Pine Manor merit-based scholarship if you demonstrate strong academic success, unique extracurricular performance and/or leadership qualities in your application for admission. After financial aid is calculated, many of our students find that our bottom-line costs are competitive with state schools.
As long as you or your family’s financial situation does not change dramatically and you meet continuing eligibility requirements for institutional funds, you will receive the same percentage amount of financial aid from year to year. This means that, if tuition, room and board and fees increase, your scholarship will increase by the same percentage as the fee increases.
Merit-based awards range from $2,000 to $20,000 per academic year and will be divided evenly between the fall and spring semesters. These awards are renewable for up to four years, provided you maintain satisfactory matriculation and academic progress as defined in the “Academic Policies” of the PMC Academic Catalog. The amount of the scholarship will be subject to change if you change your residence or commuter status.
You may be eligible to receive additional financial aid based on need. To find out if you qualify, as well as to claim any scholarship detailed in your Pine Manor College acceptance letter, please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible, ideally within thirty (30) days of receiving your acceptance letter. If you have already completed the FAFSA, please add us to your list of schools. The PMC FAFSA code is 00220100.
As an NCAA Division III institution, Pine Manor College does not award financial aid based on athletic participation, per NCAA Bylaw 15.4.1.
