Chestnut Hill, MA – Pine Manor College freshman Lindsey Segal-Bator (Bow, NH/Bow) was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Cross Country Rookie of the Week for the week of October 6 after running to a first-place, course-record finish at the Blue Jay Invitational.
In her second collegiate meet ever, Segal-Bator finished with at time of 21:35, a St. Joseph (CT) College 5k course record that outpaced her closest competitor by 55 seconds.
This marks her second such GNAC honor in as many weeks. Segal-Bator was named Rookie of the Week for the week of September 29 after taking fourth place at the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College with a time of 20:59.
Segal-Bator’s Gators are in action this Saturday at the Roger Williams Invitational at 11 a.m. at Colt State Park.
