Ashley Bernstein has been hired as the Head Coach of both the Women’s Soccer and Softball Programs, Pine Manor College Athletics announced this week. A standout softball player at Division II Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and a three-sport high-school athlete in soccer, basketball and softball at Cardinal Spellman High School, Bernstein brings a great deal of athletic experience and success to Pine Manor.

Pine Manor senior softball player Jess Kennedy (Lakeville, MA/Apponequet) has been named to the GNAC All-Conference Third Team for the 2011 season.

Pine Manor College swept a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader from visiting Norwich University on Monday afternoon at a soggy Pine Manor Field in Chestnut Hill, MA. The Gators used a four-run third inning to help guide them to a win in game one before winning game two in dramatic fashion in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Pine Manor dropped both games of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader to Emerson College on Friday afternoon at Rotch Field in Boston, MA. Emerson cruised to a 16-3 victory in game one before rallying to narrowly defeat Pine Manor 3-2 in game two. Pine Manor drops to 8-14 in GNAC, but the Gators are still alive in the race for a spot in the GNAC tournament with two games remaining against Norwich on Monday.
