Accessing PMC Email


Your PMC email is accessible from any device with a web browser and an Internet connection. To access your mail, logon to http://mail2.pmc.edu.

If you would like to set up your smartphone to access your PMC email, you may need the information listed below.

Resetting Your PMC Password


The simplest way to reset your PMC password is to use the online Self-service Password Reset Portal. Please note, you MUST enroll in the system BEFORE you will be allowed to reset your password.

  1. To enroll in the Portal, logon to http://reset.pmc.edu.
  2. You will be prompted to enter your username, current password and domain. (The domain is PMC, as listed at the top of the Portal Enrollment page.)
  3. Once you are authenticated, you will be able to choose your five security questions. Keep in mind that the answers to the security questions must be at LEAST four characters long.
  4. When you are done choosing and answering your questions, click the "Enroll" button at the bottom of the page.
  5. You will see a confirmation message telling you that you are now enrolled in the Portal.

If you forget your password, or lock out your account by entering incorrect passwords five or more times, you can use the portal to reset your password or unlock your account.

  1. To reset your password, logon to http://reset.pmc.edu.
  2. Click either the "Reset your password" or "Unlock your account" button.
  3. Enter your username.
  4. Enter your domain (PMC).
  5. Click "Continue".
  6. Answer the secret questions you previously chose and answered when you enrolled.
  7. Enter your new password. Your password must comply with the password complexity rules posted on the reset page.
  8. Click "Reset Password".

The process to unlock your account is the same as above, without the section where you enter a new password.


How to Access theStream


Browser choice:
While it is possible to log onto theStream using Firefox or Safari, you may lose some functionality using those browsers. For full functionality when using theStream, use Internet Explorer.

To log onto theStream on campus from a PMC owned computer:
To log on to theStream, go to http://thestream.pmc.edu. You will be prompted for your credentials.
The USERNAME is the username that you use every day to log into your computer. 
The PASSWORD is the password that you use every day to log into your computer.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Enter http://thestream.pmc.edu in the address bar at the top of the screen and press <Enter>.
  3. When prompted for a username and password, enter the same username that you use to logon to your computer.
  4. Enter your password and press <Enter>.

To logon to theStream from off-campus or using a non-PMC owned computer:
If you are accessing theStream from a computer that is NOT owned and managed by PMC, or if you are off-campus, you may need to put a PMC before your username.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Enter http://thestream.pmc.edu in the address bar at the top of the screen and press <Enter>.
  3. When prompted for a username and password, enter the same username you use to log into your work computer, preceded by a PMC.
  4. Enter pmc\username and then your password and press <Enter>.
