Annenberg Library maintains a small collection of standardized psychological and educational tests and measures.
Copyright restrictions and agreements with publishers impose certain restrictions on the use of standardized tests in a
library collection. Annenberg Library policies and practice comply with theses restrictions and with the guidelines outlined
in the Model Policy Concerning College and University Photocopying for Classroom, Research and Library Reserve Use (American
Library Association) and Circular 21: Reproduction of Copyrighted Works by Educators and Librarians (United States Copyright
Office).
The following restrictions apply to using the test materials from the Annenberg Library collection:
- No test materials, including manuals, may be copied.
- Students enrolled in the Psychological Testing course (PY328) may use test materials in the Library. The specific test
materials and the roster of authorized students must be supplied by the course instructor for each semester the course is
offered. Upon course completion (or withdrawal from the course) the student’s name will be removed from the list of
authorized users.
- Tests may not be taken from the library except by designated faculty and staff. The borrower must agree to abide by all
restrictions. A written list of authorized persons is kept up to date on a semester basis through the Library Liaison to the
Psychology Department or designated librarian.
