Babysitting services will be provided during the show. Please don't let childcare prevent you from seeing these heartwarming performances. We will have Pine Manor College students on-hand at the rate of $10 per child per performance. Each of the Vagina Monologues plays has a running time of approximately 90 minutes.
As always, donations are welcomed and all proceeds will benefit these organizations:
- The Second Step (www.thesecondstep.org), a Boston-area organization that provides transitional housing and a wide variety of supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
- CALA – The Committee for the Aid of Lepers in Antalaha is a Malagasy/Madagascan organization that specifically funds women who formerly had leprosy or are the descendants of lepers that are ostracized from greater society. These women live in isolated villages and produce jewelry made from natural materials as their only source of income.
- The Congo Spotlight Teach-In, a global campaign developed in cooperation with the V-Day organization to call attention to the wide-scale atrocities committed against women and girls in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
