Elizabeth McGaffigan, Administrative Assistant
Elizabeth is responsible for the coordination and implementation of most non-medical functions at the Health and Wellness Center - scheduling medical and counseling appointments, facilitating referrals and transportation, as well as prioritizing patient flow. She has primary responsibility for tracking and enrollment in the student health insurance program, as mandated by Massachusetts law.
Martha Glover, LICSW, Director, Counseling Services
Martha Glover, LICSW, is a graduate of Boston University School of Social Work. She has worked as a school-based clinician for the past eight years and has experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her special interests include the role of spirituality in the therapeutic process, women’s psychological development, and balancing work and family life. In addition, she has a Master of Education and was a resource room teacher for 15 years prior to her career in social work.
Claire Carswell, Psychiatrist
Dr. Carswell is a graduate of Wofford College and the Medical University of South Carolina. She trained both in South Carolina and locally at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as at The Boston Psychoanalytic Institute. Specializing in mood and anxiety disorders, Dr. Carswell works with adults and adolescents at McLean Hospital in Belmont and in private practice. She currently holds a faculty appointment and teaches at Harvard Medical School.
