OVERLAND PARK, Kan.— The 2015 All-Independent Men’s Soccer teams were announced today by the Association of Division III Independents.

Pine Manor College Daniel Alanis (Glendale, AZ) led a talented group of four freshmen players for the Gators that earned recognition. Alanis, who was the lone selection for the Gators on the first team, was joined by teammates Kennardo Dwyer (Bloomfield, CT) and Jose Corrales (El Paso, TX) on the second team, and Brian Wade (Connelly Springs, NC) on the honorable mention team.

Alanis finished third on the team with seven assists and had 11 total points for the season.

Dwyer finished second on the team with 20 points, leading the way with eight assists as well as four game-winning assists.

Corrales was superb primarily playing at right back finishing with four goals and nine points, including a memorable game-winner in over-time in the final match of the season versus local rival Mount Ida.

Wade led the Gators with 10 goals and 21 overall points, both of which established new school records for the men’s program.
