CHESTNUT HILL, MA—This Saturday, October 15, 2011, Pine Manor College Women’s Volleyball will host a Dig Pink day to support the Side-Out Foundation’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Rally. The event will take place during the Gators’ Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match versus Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and Anna Maria College beginning at 11:00 am at Pine Manor Gymnasium in Chestnut Hill, MA.
This fall, thousands of teams from around the country will be participating in The Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink National Breast Cancer Awareness Rally. Middle school, high school and college teams will promote breast health education in the community as well as raise funds to further research (Below: The Gators during last season's Dig Pink match).
Dig Pink events give spectators the opportunity to become involved by making donations to the cause and “pinking out” events (i.e. donning pink to show their support). The Gators will wear special pink uniforms during Saturday’s tri-match in a show of their support for the Side-Out Foundation. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear pink on Saturday. Attendence for Saturday's tri-match is free. All fans are encouraged to make a donation to the Side-Out Foundation.
If you would like to make a donation today, or are unable to attend Saturday’s tri-match please visit: http://www.side-out.org/application/ous/fundraising_page/46767 to make a donation on behalf of Pine Manor College Women’s Volleyball and to help the Gators reach their fundraising goal!
Pine Manor College and the Side-Out Foundation thank you for your support!
The proceeds from all donations will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) non=profit organization located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
